Together we achieve more. Meetings are how we manage getting things done.
They are essential to the function of society as we know it, everything from national governments to body-corporate of a group of apartments or the local football club. No organization could function without meetings.
The secret is - to do them well!
Ensure that Club members are aligned in our purposes and goals
Strengthen relationships, Club cohesion and have fun
Share information and encourage enjoyable discussions
Exchange feedback about projects and good ideas
Exercise and develop leadership and motivate members.
We support the imparting and acquisition of the skill of working with committees, managing small groups and practising skills learned in a safe and supportive environment. We use Lions projects and foundations as a medium to practise those skills to the benefit of the community. Roles within the clubs are rotated annually (as far as possible) to give everyone the opportunity to develop and move on to different roles from year to year.
