Unfortunately Lion Jessie Brent has moved from the area and together with advancing age is not able to continue organizing this wonderful activity.
We pay tribute to Jessie and thank her for her tireless efforts over many years. The project not only brought joy to the hearts of many children but was enjoyed by Lions members and friends.
It was such a marvelous way to bring in the Christmas Season. We will miss it.
A Great way to get into the Christmas Spirit
A Great way to get into the Christmas Spirit
local schools join in by collecting letters from pre-school, year one and year two students. The Club (Lion Jessie) collect these in their hundreds, and distributes them to members who settle down in their comfy chairs and (on behalf of Santa) reply to each letter.
