Lions International Peace Poster Contest

The 2023-2024 Contest

Dare to Dream

To a young person, a dream isn’t just a wish, hope or desire — it’s a path, a goal, an ambition. But achieving that dream takes hard work. So this year, we’re asking young people to show how they’ll turn their dream of a peaceful world into reality.

For over three decades, Lions clubs around the globe have been sponsoring a very special art contest in schools and youth groups. Creating peace posters gives children everywhere the chance to express their visions of peace and inspire the world through art and creativity.

This year, Lions Club of Moorabbin is sponsoring the contest  at Tucker Road Bentleigh Primary School.
Judging at this school level was on 30th October. The winning poster  will be displayed at the District level of the contest on 11th November at the Highett Community Centre along with a number of highly commented entries.  From there successful entries will proceed the the National and (hopefully) International levels.

Apologies for the cropping on some of the posters depicted.
